Ci Yuan Hawker Centre is the first hawker Centre in Singapore located inside Ci Yuan Community Club. It is managed by Fei Siong Social Enterprise, which is a social enterprise subsidiary of the Fei Siong Group, to serve the residents of Hougang. A medium size Food Centre, homed to 40 food stalls with a seating capacity of 640, offering a wide variety of cheap, affordable and delicious food and beverages with pricing as low as $2.80 onwards.
Fei Siong Social Enterprise operates the hawker center using new ideas and innovative technologies. New ideas include launching ‘Entrepreneurship Programme’ with the aim of encouraging local entrepreneurs to start up their own businesses by providing them a chance to operate their own cooked food stalls as well as to preserve our traditional hawker food heritage. It is a two-month training program where retired or established hawkers will be paired with new entrepreneurs to teach them how to cook and manage the business. This program has created a few successful young hawkers who are now managing their own stalls there and other places as well.
While new innovative technologies including using a BioHitech Eco-Safe Digester to convert food waste into non potable water, which can be safely use for general cleaning purpose. Also implement of new self-payment kiosks to settle payment and not to contaminate hawker’s hands by handling both food and money.

Shu Shi Piao Xiang Vegetarian serves twenty to thirty different dishes daily unlike other vegetarian hawker food stalls. You can select a few of your favorite dishes and served them with healthy brown rice or bee hoon.
Don’t forget to get a side of their handmade chili sauce to go with your vegetarian dishes, sweet and sour bean curd, or rendang soy-based “meat.” In addition, there are many options for persons with gluten allergies, diabetes, or other special diets at this stall.

Brostern is started by four good friends, open its doors in September 2020 and served a menu of Western fusion. The highlights of their signature dishes are the Roti John Tarik, Jumbo Burg, and the enormous Ambeng Deluxe Platter.
For about $6, you may create your memorable meal by selecting from various carb, protein, sauce, and side options. It’s great for a hearty appetite because the servings are pretty significant.
The enormous Ambeng Deluxe Platter will definitely make a good sharing option for a group of friends or a family gathering. Do note that Brostern is Muslim owned but not a Halal certified stall.

Waker Chicken is the place to go if you are looking for affordable and tasty Korean fried chicken. It is started by Noh Tae Woo and Kim Jinho, two native Koreans living in Singapore, and they import all the ingredients directly from Korea to ensure the authenticity of food. Stall is very popular, and you might have to patiently wait 20 – 30 mins for your order.
Stall offers Korean fried chicken in 4 flavor selection: Original, Sweet & Spicy, Savory and Honey Butter. They also serve chicken fillet and chicken wing combo in similar flavors. Menu also include Topokki, Korean Fried rice, Ramen, Pancake, Korean Army Stew and more with price starting from $4.50 onwards.

NUS alumni and former oil and gas industry employee, Derrick Lee completed the Fei Siong Group’s hawker-premiership curriculum in 2015 and opened his stall at Ci Yuan Hawker Centre with the help of his mentor Foo Joon Khoon.
Derrick’s self-developed recipe make his Hainanese Chicken Rice stands out from the rest by using wild rice grains cooked with aromatic garlic, ginger and homemade chicken stock. Then served with slices of juicy, tender roasted chicken drizzled with savory sesame soy sauce.
In addition to the chicken rice, the stall offers a selection of tasty accompaniments such as Thai Style Tofu, Oyster Sauce Vegetable, braised bean curd, eggs, tofu, innards, peanut stew and more.

Hong Kong Cheong Fun Sha Tin Chicken Porridge

Cheong Fun Sha Tin Chicken Porridge stall is known for their smooth and silky handmade Hong Kong style cheong fun and save you the trouble to fly to Hong Kong to try it. Stall offers a wide variety of delicious fillings for their cheong fun, including eggs, mushroom, Char Siew, Pork Liver, fish, prawns, crab meat and scallops.

Yi Mee Hoon Kueh

If you like comfort food, you must try Yi Mee Hoon Kueh. Stall is helm by Yi Jie, who is a recent graduate of the Fei Siong Group’s hawker entrepreneurial program. He has worked and trained with the company for three months as an intern at their Nam Kee Pau located in The Grandstand.
To get the ideal, chewy texture of his Mee Hoon Kueh, he handmade the dough from scratch and tearing it gently by hand to achieve the perfect chewy thickness, just like he was taught traditionally. The noodles are cooked in a sweet and delicious broth which has been simmered with pig bones for hours, with added braised mushroom, minced meat and vegetables. Then garnished with anchovies and fried shallot on top to complete the dish.

Jue Dai Lor Mee is a famous and popular stall at Ci Yuan Hawker Centre well known for its rich, starchy braised sauce Lor Mee. To avoid crowds, you must arrive early or during non-peak hours. Stall offers 4 types of lor mee including Yam Roll Lor Mee, Chicken Cutlet Lor Mee, Traditional Lor Mee and Cod Fish Lor Mee, price from $3 onwards.
Noodles drenched in a rich and delicious sauce that are impossible to resist. Dharsha Indian Food is helmed by Vijay, who is the stall owner as well as a former restaurant chef. He has been operating his stall at the Ci Yuan Hawker Centre for more than three years selling various types of Halal Indian cuisine and beverages. Stall keeps the prices low (eg. single plain prata for just $1) to ensure that many people can enjoy his food.
The Masala Thosai, Briyani, and Mee Goreng are popular crowd’s favorite. The Chicken Briyani price at $6 is generously served with fragrant basmati rice, Fried Chicken thigh, poppadom and curry sauce.
