Senja Food Centre & Market by Kopitiam is officially opened on 11 December 2022, home to 28 food vendors with 580 seating capacity. It is clean, spacious and well ventilated with high ceiling. This place also features a roof garden and 82 car parking lots. Residents of Bukit Panjang will be delighted to have a range of new food options including 4 Michelin recommended stall, 7 halal stalls and many new stalls. Hawker Centre has plenty of parking lots around the housing estate, but they can be easily taken during peak meal hours. Nearby food and vicinity include Bukit Panjang Hawker Centre, Senja-Cashew Community Club, Senja-Cashew swimming complex, Bukit Panjang Plaza, Junction 10, Hillion Mall, and more.

Famous Shi Hui Yuan was originally located at Mei Ling Street Food Centre has been honored with Michelin Bib Gourmand Award for the past six years and you can now sample their delights at this new Senja Hawker Centre.
Shi Hui Yian is well-known for its herbal braising sauce and collagen-rich hor fun. Their flavorful signature sauce has been around for more than 30 years, stewed daily with more than 30 herbs, chicken and duck bones to give a traditional and rustic flavor.
Their Braised Duck Hor Fun was served heftily with duck meat, mushroom and vegetables. The dish is cooked in a wok and topped with their signature savory sauce. Duck meat was tender and chewy. Noodle was silky, smooth and drenched in their savory sauce for extra greatness. Absolutely wonderful!

Heng Gi Goose and Duck Rice (Michelin Guide)
Another well-known name at Senja Hawker Centre is Heng Gi Goose and Duck Rice. Popular with Michelin recommendation for its Teochew-style braised duck, the stall originated from Tekka Food Centre has been around for more than 60 years. Stall offers Braised Duck with white or pumpkin Yam rice, Kway Chap, duck noodle, duck porridge and more with price starting from $4.
Their kway chap set was accompanied by pork belly slices, pig intestines, braised egg and Tau Pok. The Kway was soft and smooth, soaked in light herbal broth, topped with savory duck sauce and Coriander. The intestines were odorless and chewy. Pork belly slices were nice and tender. Best to dip them in the garlicky chili sauce for greater enjoyment.

Pin Wei Hong Kong Style Chee Cheong Fun (Michelin Guide)
Like its parent stall in Pek Kio Market & Food Centre, this family-run business has been situated at Pek Kio hawker Centre for 13 years, managed by Mr. Tan and his son Eddy. Stall is popular with its smooth and silky Hong Kong Style Chee Cheong Fun and has been awarded consecutively Michelin Plate for its freshly made rice roll with the perfect consistent thickness and flavors.
Stall offers 4 types of steamed rice rolls with plain at $3, Char Siew at $4, Prawn at $5 and scallop at $6. The soft, smooth and silky homemade rice rolls is definitely enjoyable on the palate with small bits of sesame seeds sprinkle on top and deliciously soaked in a savory soy sauce.

Jiao Cai Seafood (Michelin Guide)
Jiao Cai Seafood originated from Yishun Park Hawker Centre is specialized in Malaysian style zi char dishes and Sambal BBQ seafood on hotplates. Their Signature sambal stingray is so spicy and delicious that Michelin Inspector awarded the stall with a Michelin Plate in 2021.
Jiao Cai Seafood has been perfecting their sambal sauce for so many years, and people keep coming back because of the distinct flavor, which was made according to a recipe followed closely for the past four decades. You can never go wrong with their signature Sambal BBQ seafood dishes, Salted Egg Yolk Prawn or the Prawn Paste Chicken.
Moreover, Jiao Cai Seafood has been featured in the news recently during Christmas for the wrong reason instead of its food. Some dispute and argument with customer which immensely affected their google rating. Best to try the food yourself to decide.

China Whampoa Homemade Noodles
China Whampoa Homemade Noodle originally located at Whampoa Food Centre, is very popular for their Ban Mian as they have been perfecting their skills for more than 30 years, since 1989. It offers fresh homemade noodles with a variety of soups, such as braised beef noodle soup and curry laksa, in addition to their well-known dry dishes. Popular items on the menu include Dry Jumbo Prawn Mee Hoon Kway, Dry Abalone Clams Home Made You Mee, and Dry Sliced Fish Home Made Ban Mee.
The noodles were tossed with premium dark soy sauce, chili sauce & other sauces to give a nice umami flavor. Fish slices were tasty and chewy. Do go slow with their chili as they are really hot and spicy!

Amoy Street Lor Mee
Famous Amoy Street Lor Mee from Whampoa Food Centre has finally come to the west at Senja Hawker Centre. Stall has been expanding rapidly with outlets in Yishun, Ubi, Fernvale and here. The queue is so long that you must be prepared to queue more than 30 mins to try this popular Lor mee dish. Stall offers Lor mee at $3.20, Batang fish lor Mee at $4.50 and Jumbo meal at $5.50.
Amoy Street Lor Mee is well-known for being the go-to option for the richness of its gravy. Bowl is generously filled with fish cakes, pork belly slices, Ngo Hiang, half braised egg and drenched with their savory gravy. The pork belly was tender and chewy with fats. Noodle was slurpy and full of flavor as it had soaked up the savory gravy. Remember to help yourself with the condiments – minced garlic, black vinegar and chili to suit your own liking.
It’s a bowl that can be enjoyed by people of any age thanks to its nostalgic appeal and powerful flavors.

97 Nasi Lemak (Halal)
97 Nasi Lemak launched their first stall at Old Airport Road Food Centre in Jan 2021. They have since opened their third outlets in a short period of two years at North Bridge Road Food Centre and here. 97 Nasi Lemak is also MUIS Halal Certified and offers more choice to our Muslim friends as well.
The “Chinese-style” nasi lemak served at this stall is a specialty of the Old Airport Road Food Centre. The rice is not greasy, and you can taste the coconut milk and pandan leaves flavors. In addition to the popular fried chicken wings, the meal includes fresh, crisp Ikan Bilis with peanuts, a glistening fried egg, garnished with delicious spicy sambal chili at the side.

Warong Rice Garden (Halal)
Senja Hawker Centre is the first to feature Warong Rice Garden, a halal concept developed under the Rice Garden Community Program, by FairPrice Group that offers halal Nasi Campur or “mixed rice” in Malay with price as low as $2. Stall offers morning favorite like Mee Siam, Mee Rebus, Mee Kahwin and drinks. Nasi Kuning Set, authentic Malaysian Ramly burgers and dishes from noon onwards. The basic Nasi Kuning Chicken or fish Patin Warong set is a steal at just $3.50 ($3 for CHAS Blue, MG, PG, and NTUC members and only $2 for ComCare cardholders).
Cheap and affordable Nasi Kuning with many options to choose from. Hearty proteins are also available, marinated in savory sauces such as curry, Assam gravy, and dark sweet sauce.

Project Penyek (Halal)
Project Penyek started from ABC Brickworks Food Centre initially, and they have growth to 4 outlets currently at Cluny Food Court, Fernvale Hawker Centre and here. Stall offers Nasi Ayam Penyet, Nasi Ikan Penyet, Nasi Ayam Bakar, Nasi Ikan Bakar, Nasi Goreng Ayam Penyet, Nasi Goreng Ikan Penyet, Nasi Goreng Ayam Bakar, Nasi Goreng Ikan Bakar and chicken wing set from $3 onwards.
Nasi Ikan Penyet cost $7 is so crisp and crunchy that you can almost chew and swallow the whole fish bones. The addition of a hot and potent sambal elevates the meal. The fish’s flavor complements the rice’s, natural sweetness. What’s more, the servings are substantial, so you won’t go away hungry. The food at Project Penyet is excellent, and it’s reasonably priced.

Mohamed Ayaan Rojak (Halal)
Mohamed Ayaan Rojak is a Halal-certified vendor, run by a second-generation hawker Rahim to share the goodness of his family’s 50-year-old secret recipe. Stall offers various types of Pratas, Thosai, Murtabak, Nasi Briyani, Puttu Mayam, Indian Rojak & more, making this an attractive option for people who adhere to a halal diet. Their Pratas are really popular especially in the morning.
Select the ingredients you like for the Indian Rojak, and they will place into a wok to deep fried them. Filtered the oil, chopped into smaller pieces and served piping hot with their signature spicy peanut sauce by the side. The sauce is not too spicy but added a bit of sweetness after every bite. Dipped your fritters into the peanut sauce and popped right into your mouth. It is so wonderful that you can’t seem to stop eating till you finished the whole plate.
