Chwee Kueh can be quite oily but really satisfying. The texture was good, and chye poh mix was not too salty too. The spiciness of the Chilli was just right too.

Zhong Yu Yuan Wei Wanton Noodle serves their signature flavourful 不见天 Wanton Mee with Premium char siew marinated in a fragrant sweet sauce. 不见天 means that the Pork meat is taken from the arm pit which is the most tender part of the pig. That is why their Char Siew were so flavourful and tender despite each slice being quite thick. They were also very generous with the meat and the noodles were springy and nice.
Go early if you want to try their Premium Char Siew as they are usually sold out before lunch time.

The pork ribs were soft and tender, separated easily from the bones. The broth was tasty, rich and flavourful, ensuring a delicious seafood-pork stew with no strong porky taste. The prawns were nicely cooked as well.

Tow Kwar Pop has a great selection on the menu and the food is tasty and value for money. The stall has been in business since 1965 and they serve Rojak dishes loved by older generations. The Tow Kwar is still grilled by hand making it fluffy, slightly charred, and crispy.

This was such a luxury to eat with those crispy hand-grilled stuffed Tau Pok, mixed with sliced papaya, red apple, sliced turnip and crispy fish crackers, drizzled in their sweet addictive shrimp paste sauce. The portions are great for in-between meal snacking and this stall is a must to visit when you are in the Tiong Bahru Food Centre.

Koh Kee Teo, the founder of Koh Brother Pig’s, has just passed away on 12 Oct 2022 at age 84. The stall is now managed by his second and third-generation grand children.
Koh Brother Pig’s Organ Soup has been awarded Michelin Bib Gourmand since 2019 and has been a regular winner of the award for several years. It is the first Pig’s Organ Soup stall in Singapore to be awarded this prestigious award.

The Pig’s Organ Soup is boiled for hours daily with fresh pig bones, offal and salted preserved vegetables. The bowl of soup will serve with generous pig organ slices, pig liver, tripe, intestines, pork belly, meat balls, lean meat & more.
Stall also serves their signature Glutinous Rice stuffed with delicious Chestnuts wrapped in Pig Intestine. Soaks with mouth-watering flavours of the pig organs and sweetness of the chestnuts.
